Highlights for August 24, 2022

1. Dnipropetrovsk region. At night, the russian troops attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with rockets, Grad and Uragan MRLs. One rocket hit a private house, burying two children under the rubble. Eventually, they were saved.

The occupiers shelled the Nikopol district with heavy artillery and Grad MRLs. A family was injured in Marhanets. Two houses were destroyed and over 10 were damaged.

In the Synelnykivskyi district, the enemy shelling killed a child, 11.

The occupiers fired at the Chaplyne railway station: four passenger cars caught fire, 25 people were killed, and 5 of them burned in a car. One of the victims is a boy, 11. Search and rescue operations at the railway station continue.

2. Khmelnytskyi region. Reportedly, the occupiers launched 4 rockets from the Gomel region of Belarus in the region. Two missile strikes targeted the critical infrastructure of the Shepetivskyi district. In the nearby houses, the blasts broke windows and doors.

3. Poltava region. The occupiers launched 4 rockets on infrastructure facilities in Myrhorod.

4. Mykolayiv region. In the morning, russian troops shelled Novyi Buh city. At least nine people were injured, including two children.

Russia is perpetrating genocide against the Ukrainian people. Ask your government to supply Ukraine with more heavy weapons to prevent further casualties and destruction. Stop the crisis by spreading the truth!
