Highlights for June 8, 2022

1. Russian occupiers pretending to be the old friends called the residents of Avdiyivka, the Donetsk region. They asked about the number of residents in their houses and shelled them minutes after the calls. In Bakhmut, the occupiers fired a missile at buildings where people were hiding. The exact number of casualties is unknown.

2. In Kharkiv, a russian missile hit a supermarket. Information about the victims is being clarified.

Ukraine is experiencing catastrophic economic damages due to russia’s military aggression, which has already started to impact the global economy. Food, energy, and labor markets are in danger.
