Highlights for September 17-18, 2022

1. Dnipropetrovsk region. The russian troops fired five rockets over the Dnipropetrovsk region during the day. In the Zelenodolsk community, two civilians were killed, and one man was wounded.

The occupiers also shelled the Marhanets community, injuring two people. Almost 30 shells hit Nikopol, wounding three people. Dozens of high-rise buildings and private houses, a kindergarten, an administration building, cars, farm buildings, gas pipelines, and power lines were damaged. There was also a fire in the local market.

2. Zaporizhzhia region. The russian shelled the region at night. In the Tavriiske village, a gymnasium, a sports club, and a local cultural center were destroyed. High-rise buildings were damaged in the Stepnohirsk village. One person was injured in the city of Orikhiv.

3. Donetsk region. The occupiers shelled the Sloviansk TPP in the Donetsk region. As a result, a fire broke out, and the station’s equipment was damaged. russian troops struck the private sector in Kramatorsk, injuring at least three people. Rescue operations are ongoing there.

4. Kharkiv region. The invaders launched rocket attacks on Chuhuyiv, killing one girl, 11. Critical infrastructure, the private sector, an enterprise, and a gas station were also damaged.
The occupiers fired from a tank at a civilian car in the border village of Strelecha, killing two women.
A psychiatric hospital was hit during the evacuation of patients. Out of more than 600 patients, only 30 were evacuated. Reportedly, 4 medical workers were killed, and two patients were injured.

Russia is perpetrating genocide against the Ukrainian people. Ask your government to supply Ukraine with more heavy weapons to prevent further casualties and destruction. Stop the crisis by spreading the truth!
